BINNINGTON SANDS ESTATE, STAGES 1-3
LOCATION: South Mackay
CLIENT: Stockland Developments
DATE COMPLETED: April 2004
REQUIREMENTS: The project, located at Illawong Beach, required construction of the operational works for 130 allotments including a major culvert construction and landfill. A high water table made dewatering the site a necessity. Due to the presence of acid in the soil, all excavated materials were treated, in compliance with government's strict environmental requirements.
